I got my limit today!

For the first time in my life, today, when I went fishing I got to stop and watch everyone else fish. I caught my limit. I was amazed! I have fished at this lake for years and never have even come close. But, today, I did something different! I actually caught fish!

So today I am taking back my catch phrase about fishing, that most of my fishing friends have heard me say at one time or another. "It's called fishing, not catching" If I can keep this up, I may have to say, "I'm going catching today. "

HMMMM - That sounds nice!

Here is a picture of my dad and me from Detroit Lake today where we both actually had a pretty good day! This is the last day my dad (my best friend) and I are going to be able to fish until next year. Next week he goes in for knee surgery and I have lost my fishing buddy for the rest of the season. Here's to next year!
