The Greenway Neighborhood in Beaverton, Oregon (Surrounding Greenway Park)

SantaPaws was a huge success! Thanks PetSmart and my followers for your support

Today, I became Santa for the day for the SantaPaws event at the Clackamas PetSmart. You never know how an event like this is going to do, but I’m proud to say I made the most amount of money in the region for the Oregon Ferret Shelter in Oregon City.

It is that time of year again: Washington Squares Breakfast with Santa!

This has become a family tradition for us where my whole family, including my parents, all go out to breakfast at the Washington Square Mall and enjoy our time with the big guy… Santa Claus! We get to all enjoy songs, magic and a great breakfast together.

Then afterwards, all the kids go down to sit on Santa’s lap and give them their Christmas wish list which unlike some of the photos I’ve seen online, this gives my kids a smile! Don’t tell the kids, but this year I’ve put on each of their lists one extra item. My son it seems wants a 50 inch flat screen, my youngest wants an iPad and my oldest daughter wanted a Major League Baseball team in Portland. (Hey, it is for the kids!)

So, hope like last year that I get to meet some of my readers in person and hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Thanks Washington Square for such a great Christmas tradition that the entire family can enjoy.
