Today I have switched companies. After 3 years with Kastings & Associates, I, Todd Clark have switched to Palazzo Realty Group in Portland, Oregon. With this company change, you will also notice one other little change on my side bar.

Palazzo, in Italian, means
Palace, and as many of you know from my writings over the past two
years here
in the rain, I make every one of my families feel like they are buying
the palace
of their dreams.
I
think everyone will see that other than the new name and the little
addition
to my title, that I will
still be the same Todd, just with a new company. I
promise to always help those in need and maybe even bring some new
people to Activerain.
I’m still going
to treat your
referrals like kings and queens that are looking to either buy or sell
their
palace in Beaverton,
Oregon, and the surrounding
areas. I promise
to make you look great for referring me to your clients.
As
always, my referral structure will remain the same as it did the day I
started with Activerain. If
you send me a referral, I will pay you 25% for that
referral, and if they ever buy or sell through me again, I will send
you 10% of
that sale. Oh, wait there is more! If the client your referred to me
ever
refers someone, a friend, a relative, or heck maybe even a co-worker, I
will
send you 5% of that sales as well. (Basically, as long as I’m
making money from
your referral, and you are still licensed, you will get a check for
every sale
from that referral)
Now, this company does have some bloggers within it, but the company as
a whole
needs some work on their blogging skills… The
Company’s blog, Dave
Smith, and the principle
broker Seraina
Aguayo. I will be
hiring on some new agents with this company and really making it grow. I
certainly will be looking within the ranks
of Activerain for some serious new talent.
So,
what made me change to this new company?
Well Seraina was a mentoree of
mine 3 years ago when she was at Activerain and I have to say, what she
has
done in the last 3 years has just amazed me. When she invited me to her
upstart
company to train new agents, it was a chance I couldn’t pass
up. She said,
“Todd, I know what you did for my career and I want you to
teach that, your
ethics, and your skills, to everyone that comes aboard with our
company.” Well,
to say that made me blush would be an understatement! But how could I
pass her
up on the offer when she put it that way?
Many of you will ask why I didn’t start my own company, and to be honest, I’ve owned four businesses in my life and I wasn’t ready to go back to that life. I wanted to be able to leave at any time and not have to worry about an office that was being left behind. I have enough stress in my life, I didn’t want to worry about an office again. Maybe in the future, but for now, it is more about my family than me.

What if there was a way you could search the MLS for FREE just like Realtors
Now you can access the MLS using similar tools as Realtors. You are in control of what you want to search for, and you can search the MLS at your leisure. The information you submit in the form below can also be used to put you on an automated system where you'll be emailed all homes that meet your search criteria. You'll get internet access to a website that includes pictures, prices, and addresses to real estate that's listed in the MLS!

Very impressive Todd. I like your referal structure. That makes great sense to me. I think I'll create something like that in my office.
Congratulations on your move!
Anna Banana, Phoenix,AZ
Todd, that is great, CONGRATS! I wish you the best.
Congratulations on the move. Hope it will be everything you are wanting it to be.
Congrats on your move I wish you much success it seems like you have found a great team.
Todd - Good luck in your new endeavor. I'm sure you will be a great asset for the new company you joined. Why did you change your picture?
Todd - Like you, I too made a recent change in status. Two weeks ago, I went from Pacific Financial Mortgage to Windsor Capital Mortgage and I'm loving it. I wish I had made the change sooner.
I also notified all my clients (past & present) just to let them know that my service is still the same only better in some ways. The response I have received so far has just been phenominal and has made me realize how truly incredible my clients are.
For them, it didn't matter where I worked (especially if it's a better move for me), it's who I am and the way that I work that impressed them and as long as that hasn't changed, then they will continue to refer me to people that they know, trust and respect. It's hearing stuff like that from our clients that make it all worthwhile for us, I guess. Best of luck Todd. :)
Todd..Best of Luck and Continued Sucess..
BEST WISHES!

Gooduck on your career move; sometimes change is as good as a rest.

Gary - Yes, I did bring back the home plate for two reasons, one another Internet experiment and also baseball season is here again!
Mark - I love surprises... and you were right, I was affraid to aks... (LOL)

Liz - Loved the Me-Me and also sometimes change is a good thing and exactly what is needed to help us take our business to new levels.

TC,
Wise choice! Good luck!!! Let me be the 42nd commenter to wish you well...I know about your ethics and I know you don't burn any bridges, so look straight ahead and Godspeed...!!! Thanks, Fran
Laura - I think it will teach most of these agents that it isn't about what you blog about, but rather discipline and just getting your name out there.
Barb - I'm guessing I'm one of those that will work until I die... My wife doesn't like it when I'm home to many days in a row... I get stir crazy. (LOL)
Troy - Family has always come first in what every I do! The day my first daughter was born was the day I basically sold my first business so I didn't have to deal with the long hours of not being able to get home.
Terry - Yes it is, but this change was more for my family than me.
Roberta - Take advantage of it anytime you want.. The phone number is 503-524-9494.
Fran - I certainly didn't burn a bridge! I still talk to all my past principle brokers even if they weren't the right fit for me anymore at that point in my career.
Todd --- I am very happy for you. Don't forget those referrals who are moving to SC --we cover Charleston, and the surrounding towns as well as Manning, Santee, Wyboo, Sumter, Florence and now Myrtle Beach.
I know you will be a huge asset to your new company and it sounds like they know it.
Mama Liz - Is your referral structure as good as mine?
Todd - Congrats on the positive change! Best of luck!
Jason - Haven't you learned, I don't believe in luck! I have to make my own!
She said, "Todd, I know what you did for my career and I want you to teach that, your ethics, and your skills, to everyone that comes aboard with our company."
Now there's a real smart lady! CONGRATS on your move. I'm looking forward to reading your progress reports.
Bruce - You won't see many here on this blog, but you may see more on the company site and blog. I'm really going to help focus this company on getting good agents that want to work hard and earn money!
Good luck on your move. Hope all goes well.
