I would say spring has
officially arrived today in the Beaverton, Oregon, Parks. Today my
family
and I spent some time at Buckskin Park in
the Greenway
Neighborhood of Beaverton,
Oregon.
Now, this park was fun
for the kids and I have to say they didn’t actually want
to leave. It had a picnic table where we could have lunch
and leave our water
bottles. We didn’t see any other families while we were there and the
kids
didn’t get to hot because the trees kept the park pretty shaded. (Even
my wife
who burns easily didn’t burn as we hit an early 78 degrees today.)

Growing up, going to the park was a Sunday ritual for us. We didn't have a lot of money so entertainment had to be cheap, but it remains one of my fondest memories.
My kids love to go to any kind of park. This weekend they were at there favorite type. A water park. Thank goodness it was heated.
Barb - So you became a real estate agent, so your family could feel the same way as you did as a kid? (LOL)
Laura - Water park, I think our closest is about 3 hours away. We have a small one in Clackamas, but haven't been there, so don't know if it is worth mentioning.
Gosh....Spring really sounds if it has arrived. I think that your kids and the corresponding activities are great barometers for the spring season...same with summer. Cool photos T.
Todd, Sounds like a very nice little park. It is always good to get out of the house and the weather really helped out too.
Larry - The kids are so excited that the weather is here. They are waiting for the community pool to open up. (COME ON HOA)
Don - My wife says if she doesn't start to get out more with the kids, I may die in my sleep one night. (LOL)
