Hart
Meadows Park is a
medium
sized park right in the middle of the Hart Neighborhood of Beaverton, Oregon.
The good thing about this park is it is rather large and open making it
a great
place to take you dog and let it run and play catch without having to
worry
about the ball going too far.
There is also some great
playground equipment there that the kids loved to play
on, and because it wasn’t too hot today, they played for
almost an hour. I
could see this park being a problem during the summer with no shade.
The
parents have a place to sit at the picnic table near the playground
equipment
so they can watch their kids while they either play a game of cards or
read a
book. (There is a 2nd swing set a little farther
up in case the
first one is full/) The only drawback we could see with this park, as
with many
others, is there are no bathrooms.
Now if you are using the
path to exercise this park is rather small, but that
doesn’t really matter because it connects with Summercrest East Park to
the
south, Summercrest West to the west, and Burntwood Park to
the North. So, what
is a medium sized park to start out with, becomes a huge park with
plenty of
running trails.
So, if you are looking
for a park to exercise at or just to play with the kids
for the afternoon, then I suggest you check out Hart Meadows Park in
the Hart
neighborhood of Beaverton.
