neighborhood raise money for the Sunshine Pantry, a
non-profit Beaverton based
organization that helps families with clothing and food when it is
needed the
most.
How can you help?
Do you have any good quality items that you no longer need? Come donate them to the sale by dropping the items off at the Evergreen Presbyterian Church on Friday, June 26th, 2009, between 8am and 4pm. (Please have price and tag the items if you are can, to help them so they don’t have to.)
Then on the Saturday the 27th, between 8am and 4pm come back to shop for bigger items that your family maybe looking for and help your budget by buying them used and also help the Sunshine Pantry at the same time. If you are looking for smaller items, those will be for sale at Hearthstone Assisted Living in Beaverton.
So, come by and help the Highlands Hills Neighborhood and together we can help the entire city’s needy. Remember the good old days when someone was in trouble, the community rallied to help their neighbor instead of the government jumping in? Let’s get back to the day where if your neighbor needs the help you will reach out with a helping hand.
