Todd, I am so very much better at sunsets than I am at sunrises!  It's hard for me to get up at 5 something to grab the opportunity!

Todd,

I have seen that view many times down in the Vancouver and Portland area. I like Portland.

Hi Todd,

Great picture! Is that the Columbia? I remember the views from my childhood of the Columbia. The salmon, and the sunsets I remember most, thanks for bringing back the memories! :)

Todd

Early morning is absolutely my favorite time of day. And at my age each morning is a very welcome thing!

If we had sunrises like that it would be worth while to get up early.

Todd,

That would do it for me. The sky and water look like they are on fire. Fantastic shot. :)

Todd... me too.  I like to fish, so morning is always the best time of the day.

Yes, that was taken from the Portland side of the Columbia. I stopped off on the way to my sisters in Washington and had to stop to get these pictures.

Wow, simply amazing.  What an awesome view, I love scenes like this, it always makes me appreciate our Creator and His beauty.  Reminds me of the Kurt Carr song, "Awesome Wonder".

Todd, I really have to say..this is one of the most beautiful photos, I've seen..if I had a view like that I'd get up early too (and I'm not a morning person)

Wow, Todd, I see the sunrise every morning but from where I am at it doesn't look like that - at least not more than once in a blue moon.  Gorgeous!

Todd those colors are fantastic but they can also be found when the sun sets in the PM.

I can see why you stopped to take a photo, Todd.  Isn't it amazing what God can paint with His own paintbrush?  You can't make this stuff up.

Todd - That photo is beyond stunning!  It's your picture that lets me know it is ok to plant yellow, orange, pink, blue and purple wildflowers in my garden next year.

Early is SO worth it! Just wish I could do it more often! LOL

That is beautiful. What an incredible sunrise. I always get the sunsets. I guess it dakes people who prefer both ends of the sun-cycle ;-)
