The Beaverton Chapter of The American Red Cross needs you blood donations! (Where to donate)

When is the best time to give blood? The answer to that is anytime! Anytime you can donate blood, there will always bee someone who could use it. I've donated over 2 gallons, how many lives have I saved? Who knows, but I'm guessing many!

Remember giving blood isn't about you, it is about the live you maybe saving. Heck, there are times the life you save could be your own. You just never know who that blood could be going to.

Donate to the Red Cross

Your one donation could be the difference between life and death, especially if you have one of the more rare blood types. So, think about how you can contribute to the world and donate an hour of your time and a quart of your blood. You never know, the life you may save could be your own.

I do this locally.  It's such a great and inexpensive way to truly give back.

Todd, I have given a few times but the last time I passed out so I'm gun shy now. I know how important it is though and I hope your blog reaches a lot of people who decide to donate.

Todd, That is a great message to pass along to everyone. It really does save lives! Just remember to eat breakfast if you go early to give!

An hour and a half to save a life is well worth it to me and Wanda you are so correct, getting light headed sucks. Right Barb?
