My Black Friday Open House

It was 6am, I had put the signs out that said “Open House –Black Friday One Day Sales Price” just to see what would happen and to my surprise, I had a lot of people stop off and I got a lot of names of potential buyers out there looking for a deal!

The black Friday open house ended at 12pm and by 3pm today I had eleven prequalified buyers! Yes, I had a mortgage broker on speed dial that helped my come up with the idea. I think I’m going to have a new traditional ever Friday following thanksgiving.

Seems people are always looking for a deal even if not in a mall! My seller was even game and offered $10,000 off for this one day only. Hopefully we will get that property sold also, but the leads today were wonderful!

Todd, I'll bet it was easier to park at your Open House than at the local mall!

Excellent ideal. 

Will add it to our Open House repertoire.  We do a Broker/Realtor® Open, a Saturday "Sneak Peek", a Sunday Open, and an occassional, weekday Twilight Open.

Exposure to the Market gets properties SOLD!

I'm feeling a little backward about now.....Last night I made some flip comment on someone's post that was about Black Friday.   I wondered out loud how an open house would work early on Black Friday.  I was joking.

This is certainly one I will do again and again! The only thing I did to advertise was put out a normal open house sign with a piece of paper above it that read "Black Friday Open House"
