Nonna Emilia simply the best Italian food you have ever had without going to Italy

Nonna Emilia’s is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at.  The atmosphere is quaint and intimate.  The smells of Italian food fill the air and the wait staff has always been helpful and prompt.

Nonna Emilia Italian Restaurant

Don’t be fooled by the menu.  Portions are large.  One pizza will feed a family of 5, and you will probably have some left over. The Calzone is the size of the pizza and comes out on a tray, not a plate.  Every entrée I have tried has been delectable.

They have no problems with an intimate date or a large party.  On weekends, you may have to wait a long time to get in as it gets quite crowded.  To me, that only says that it’s worth the wait.

If take out is your plan, they do that too.  They have a separate entrance for pick up, so you don’t have to fight the crowds and you can even call in your order early so you won’t have to wait. Walk in, pick it up and head home to the greatest Italian food you have ever had.

Having had a Nonna as a mother-in-law I do know there are no better cooks! :-)

From the desk of David Dee,

TOdd, sounds like a great place to dine. Don't think we have that restaurant here in SoCal.

Todd, Nonna Emilia's was one of my wife's favorite restaurants while living in Beaverton, and we haven't found anything even close down south.

Sounds like a great place.  None that I know of this far south either.

I'm going to have work hard to get used to American food ...after tasting some pretty fine Taiwanese ciuisine in the last two weeks,

Then maybe I'll be ready for some Italiano, too.

Todd, not fair, you can't make me this hungry in the early morning.  Looks like a super place.

This place is no franchise, they are the only one! I do have to say my wife introduced me to this place when we were dating and I think maybe this is how he she won me over.

That sounds like a really good reason to come to Beaverton this summer! I love 'no franchise' family owned restaurants. We grew up on Italian style cooking... I love it.
