I can tell you that instead of planning a vacation which can make you feel good for a few days, why not do something that can make you feel good forever and only takes a couple hours? That is right, donate blood! If you are planning your summer vacation, stop right now, take 3 minutes and plan to give blood and then go back to planning the vacation.

What if there was a way you could search the MLS for FREE just like Realtors
Now you can access the MLS using similar tools as Realtors. You are in control of what you want to search for, and you can search the MLS at your leisure. The information you submit in the form below can also be used to put you on an automated system where you'll be emailed all homes that meet your search criteria. Todd you do a great service to your community getting this information out. You are so right - the feeling of doing something worth while does last... Good luck on your areas blood drives!
Hello Todd,
Great post for a wonderful cause! Congratulations are in order for you one Million points on Active Rain!
Thanks for sharing.
Adam
Todd - Great Post! Donating blood is the EASIEST way to give back to the community. I finally talked my husband into doing it with me.
Todd
Good for you; I wish I was there I could personally put the hose in you when you want to donate. Way to go buddy!
Todd -
Giving blood is a true priviledge....not everyone can donate under today's rules.
Those that can, should surely consider doing so.
Here, they even give you cookies. :-)
Before this comment you had just
198 points to go
before you reach ONE MILLION POINTS on ActiveRAIN.
The cookies and juice are a pretty good reward for donating, don't you think? Great idea to blog about this subject.
Todd, this is a very nice localism post providing locations for the blood donation centers. I had hepatitis so I can not give blood.
It is a good cause for sure. One of the agents in our office has donated many gallons over the years, and I'm not exaggerating. He has certificates to prove it.
This is a great way to give back to the community! Just be sure if you're going to give blood, eat and drink something so you do not get woozy! Great post Todd!
Thank you for the reminder, Todd. It's one of the most painless and rewarding contributions we can make (plus the cookies and juice and chance to visit with other donors really help sooth the needle sting!).
Congratulations, Todd !!!!
You are our MILLION POINTS MAN.

It's 11:52 p.m. PDT by my time. But I wasn't watching when you turned over the magic mark.
When do you go back to 950,000?
(I want to get my bid in early for when you hit a MILLION again:
June 27, 11::00.00 CDT.)
Congrats on your million points. Quite a few worth while posts went into that accomplishment! Plus, giving blood is a great and worthy cause.
Sue of Robin and Sue
Congratulations Todd! I saw Jim's post and had to come over and cheer. I'm told the first 1,000,000 are the hardest. ;0)
Todd, Thanks to Jim, I would not have known Mr One Million POINTS...WOW where are the Active Rain Gods with the Bells and Whistles??? CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on your milestone achievment. Keep on bloggin'!!
Hey, Todd! I woke up this morning to find that you hit the one million mark! Congraatulations!
Todd, Congratulations are reaching this significant milestone, but probably more important the accumulation of business and exposure this platform afforded you. Your time spent in the Rain had to be fulfilling otherwise you wouldn't have been so consistent and prolific.
AND Giving blood helps to save lives, not to mention so many blood banks across the country are in a shortage situation. Some of this blood does find it's way to out fighting people overseas.
Todd ~ I can't get out there to give blood, but I can wish you congrats on your acheivement of 1,000,000 points!!!
