Great Job...... I give blood when I can. every few months.
Great alert to all the locations to give blood, Todd. My mom has Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and has to have a blood transfusion and platelets one a week now so we truly appreciate how important it is to give the gift of life.
Todd, It's always a great idea to donate when you can! You never know who may need it!
Todd - I've said it a million times this is the best gift and so easy, who can say they saved a life by sitting in a chair for less than an hour? Unfortunately the last time I tried donating blood my iron was too low :(, which reminds me I need to take my iron supplement.
Invaluable information you've posted here Todd. It takes so little to provide so much for someone in need.
Todd...the way to keep on giving...we're doing en masse as an office to raise awareness...it takes so little & provides so much to people...
Bring a book, iPod anything and that hour will fly by! I've been listening to seminars while waiting in line and while giving blood, it is amazingly wonderful and gives me time to actually relax!
Great reminder, Todd. I usually try to go at least once a quarter and I'm way overdo. Going to try to set up a time this weekend.
Good post Todd and I like the your idea of presenting the donation centers. Our local Red Cross is very good about calling to schedule donations. When I was in last week, one of the other donors got a badge for reaching the 9 GALLON mark. Nine gallons!
Some people don't realize how volatile and fragile our blood supply is. We are always a just tragedy away from a catastrophe...
