Looks like summers last wave came through yesterday and my kids took full advantage by heading to my parent’s house and heading to Deep Creek. Deep Creek is a little off shoot of the Clackamas River and over the years the kids in family have slowly built a little shoot of water to ride our inner tubes down. My kids got to enjoy that yesterday one last time before fall and cooler weather arrive making it not only too cool to probably do this, but the water levels get pretty high during the fall and winter months as well.
So goodbye summer we will miss you, but we will watch for you again next year and we will be ready to enjoy your waves of fun that come with you.

Todd, my daughter is 18 and heading to college next year. This photo reminded me of a similar picture I had taken of her at about the same age. Enjoy this time...it goes so fast.
It looks like she's having a great time. We're having a heatwave, and finding it nice to be near the water.
