Living Beaverton - Your guide to everything Beaverton

Sometimes the perfect gift is the one you aren’t expecting – I’m proud to be a D.A.D.D.

Since the day my daughters were born I’ve always said to them “You can’t date until I’m dead” and so far, so good. But, my mother-in-law found a shirt that she thought was perfect for this Christmas and I have to say it may replace my Activerain shirt when I’m out and about with them.

Dads again daughters dating

So, I’m proud to announce I’m not a D.A.D.D. (Dads Against Daughters Dating) Even though my oldest daughter basically laughed at me when she saw it and said “Good Luck” I told her that when she tries to start dating in a few years “Good luck!” with a wink.

I didn't have the shirt when my kids were growing up, but I reinforced a couple of things many times and would have worn the shirt. They are now getting into the same position themselves!!

I see you have the same "problem" as me. My girls are 11, 10 and 8. I'm screwed.

Good one. Could be the plot of it's own reality TV show.

Love the shirt. I saw those for sale and nearly bought one for my son, but figured I'd wait just a bit, since my Grand-daughter just turned 7.

Good luck with that Todd, ;)  I have 2 daughters and the best you can hope for is that they develope good taste and choose well.

With that shirt, I was expecting you to be holding a shot gun.  Funny!

Oh, I have something better than bats if a boy comes over! I plan to have every boy who even plans to try to date my daughter read this post. Dead eye Todd

Even if you send the girls to a convent, Todd, they will find a way to date! Having daughters is probably payback for all the worry you caused someone else's dad.
