Greenway Park in Beaverton, Oregon

Greenway Park in Beaverton is a very large, 85+ acre, park in Beaverton, Oregon that is full of fun for everyone. Basketball courts, ADA approved trail access, Tennis Courts, Softball Fields, Soccer Fields, Playground Equipment and Restrooms.

This park is large enough that you could spend all day and never run out of things to look at or view. With trails that follow the Fanno Creek, and a large wildlife preserve, you can even sit all day and see wildlife that you normally don't see.

If you are even looking for a place to hold a picnic, they have even have a covered picnic area that can be reserved for larger parties through the Tualatin-Hills parks and recreation department.

At the Scholls Ferry end of Greenway park, there is a path that goes under the road and then the park becomes Englewood Park, and is maintained by the City of Tigard.

Todd, if the adorable puppy is a member of your household, just wait!  God made them really cute so you'd love them so much when they're a year old that you won't kill them for chewing all your pillows, chewing your shoes, chewing your furniture - you'll get it!

And it looks like you have a beautiful park.

Candy - And you didn't stay? You really need more than 2 weeks in Oregon to discover all it has to offer.

Amy - Well worth the drive, they have done an amazing job with this park.

Gary - Thank you! The Google feature is something they have been offering for awhile, I just hadn't figured it out yet.

Roberta - We are a little cooler than Vegas! You might want to come here on one of your 115 degree days during the summer.

Patricia - So far it has been a month and haven't lost anything besides paper! The dog I guess needs more fiber! Then caught it chewing on the trunk of the tree in the back yard yesterday. Not sure what is really wrong with that dog.

Find a notary - There is more parks here than any other place I've been. They really want to make Oregon a place for families.

Kevin - There are so many, I think I could write about a new park every other day and it would take me all year to get through all of them.
