Sometimes a pile leaves can be used for more than just a compost pile, as our puppy figured out real quick after a long day of playing with the kids.
UPDATE: We lost Midge the puppy in this picture in early February and she will be missed very much by everyone who met her. Thanks midge for the great memories and some even more unforgettable laughs.

Todd! Cute post. The dogs has it made. We don't get too many leaves here in AZ LOL (and it is till 90 degrees!!!
Todd - I am sure the leaves made a nice bed for the doggy. I spent yesterday raking leaves and my yard looked great. Today the rain and wind blew so many leaves back it is as if I did nothing.
Wayne - Yes we do!
John - That dog does have it made! My three kids spoil that think rotten!
Joeann - I'm so sorry! 90 degrees? In October, no way! I can't stand it during the summer, why would I put up with at Halloween - lol
Jennifer - That was day four of try to keep the leaves in a mile in the middle of the yard. So know exactly how you feel!
Linda - Thank you!
Kathy - I wish that leash wasn't in the photo either! But, being it still a puppy, don't trust it to run off after a cat or a squirrel yet.
Marlene - I'll have the kids do that one for you - lol
Debbie - I love watching the kids rake leaves - lol (And puppy played pretty hard)
Candy - He was playing hard and it was so funny he just stopped and looked at us and fell over and was asleep. I'm not sure anything would have woke puppy up!
Karen - I promise! But, if we are on the subject of eating dog...I've been to China and Hong Kong. (I won't go in to any more detail)
Todd: Perhaps you might be interested in a local Texas delicacy called "road apples." I know a place in Houston you need to visit next trip down.
Karen - I'm willing to try anything once. If I get down your way, I'll go!
Carol - Thank you! Helps the dog is cute, so we don't hurt it when we lose a shoe.
I would like to trade places with your puppy on a warm, sunny Fall afternoon. Ahhhh, a nice long nap in the sun.
Todd - That does look like fun. I wish I could nap more often, honestly.
Cynthia - There are days I do also!
Jason - It is well worth taken one!
Roberta - Promise, I will!
Karen - You must have been reading my mind! I just wrote a blog about that, here is the link

Todd: Me reading YOUR mind. Yikes, that is a very scary thought. I wonder if there is any medication I can take for that. I am guessing it will have to be some herbal concoction made up by some Shaman somewhere.
