I was talking to a client today and she said, "When I think of you, this is what comes to mind." I had to laugh. She said, "So many people are never willing to think out of the box and when they die, you have to wonder if they regret it. With you I'm never worried about that, you are always thinking outside the box."
This thought has now been stuck in my head, and that brings up the question, am I truly thinking outside the box enough? I always have new ideas, but am I willing to implement them? When I started for my present brokerage, my principle broker said "you have more original ideas that I have every seen!"
She then gave me an empty book to put all my ideas in and told me, "When this book is full of you ideas, and I am expecting that to be within 2-3 years, I want you to publish this book."
So are you going with the flow, or are you thinking outside the box before they put you in one?

Roberta - If you think of something, just do it instead of thinking about it that is the key!
Karen - This picture was taken last month on our nature walk - lol

Hi Todd: Why am I not surprised you have pictures of wild mushrooms. Such a silly goose. Thanks for sharing... and once again, thanks so much for all your kind thoughts and prayers for my daughter Robin and her puppy Lady in their time of need. Karen Anne
By the way, Todd... seeing that you are in Beaverton... the last time I was there... December of 1999... I had dinner at an Appleby's on NW 185th Ave south of 26, and almost rented an apartment on NW Rock Creek Blvd just north of 26 and west of 185th.
Todd,
This is definitely an outside the box way to get our attention and make us think.......lol
To me, thinking outside the box often means going against conventional wisdom, and I love it. Imagine if Mr. Columbus had stuck with the status quo................
Hi Todd,
Excellent post!
How right you are. People have the opprtunity all the time, but like you say, they cannot think out of the box.
Sometimes, I believe, you have to force yourself to take a step back and look at the "Big Picture"
Hope you had a great ThanksGiving.
Sincerely,
Tom Braatz
