Where in the heck is my spatula? (Moving Hint)

AHHHHHH! It has come to that time again, where I just have to break down cry and spend another $4.99 on a new spatula. I know it seems insignificant, but it is just another thing in a long list of things that I have had to re-buy recently.

Because there are moving boxes that I have yet to unpack, because the investment property is half the size of our old place, we have had to keep certain boxes in storage. The only problem is the boxes I bring home labeled kitchen supplies has books and CD's in it or my one labeled electronics has kids toys.

WHAT HAPPENED? For anyone who has moved in the past 3 years and is considering moving again, learn from me, throw away the old boxes and start with new boxes without labeling on them.

Or you too maybe asking...Where in the heck is my spatula?

Todd in the last 3 years I have moved 5 times - 2 of those were west coast to east coast back to west coast in a 6 month time span and one is to Alaska. I am the moving Queen!! Of course the military moves me but I am a real stickler about labeling every thing!!! I hate moving with a passion!!! Hope you find your stuff :)

Pictures!  We want pictures of the new Investment property.  Congrats on your move.  I've always used lables on my moving boxes.  That way I can just slap on a new lable to re-use them.

Todd, Congratulations on your move. Believe it or not, my wife and I have lived in the same house for the past 30 years. I guess that we won't have to worry about where the spatula is, unless we lose it in the dishwasher, or one of the grand kids takes it outside.  8-)

I had similar questions after I "de-cluttered" our old house, when we moved into the new one it was like Christmas, finding all my kitchen utensils and gadgets again! Hope you get settled into the new place soon.

Todd, having moved so often (3 time in 3 years, military), I probably have three or four spatulas by now.  The problem is, since we move so often, there are still some boxes that never got unpacked form the last move!  I can probably mail you a spatula!

Jo - 5 times? I don't know how you do it! I try not to move more than once every 10 years and if I can avoid that I would!

Nancy - It is nothing special, just a little condo that I bought while selling the other condos in the unit.

James - I won't forget that next time, I promise!

Michael - When we get to the point where we can buy our dream home, I know we will be the same way. Looking for a nice farm house on 100 acres with lots of walking trails, horse barn and fishing pond, just enough to escape from it all.

Diane - We won't be here much longer than six months more, once we get it done, we will be moving on. So not looking good for finding everything, I think the thing I miss the most is the Pinball machine.

Fran - Short and Sweet, just had to get my frustration out and hopefully if it saves one person, then I've done my job!

Marlene - What is it with you military people? How do you start all over in another place every time you move?

LOL....this reminds me of my grandma.  She has saved banana boxes from every time they have moved from YEARS and YEARS ago!  They have so many things written and scribbled out on them that it's hard to know what's really in that box!

Becky - I remember those banana boxes, they were awesome because you could look inside of them.
