My family and I decided to take a small vacation to the Oregon coast to go camping. When we planned this in February, we thought for sure it would be a lot warmer and dryer than it is on day one.
The latest snow fall ever recorded on the Oregon coast was in mid April 1956 and guess what it is doing here, right now, as we are camping!
Yep, snowing! Here is a picture, the Oregon coast is still beautiful, but I was hoping for about 20 degrees warmer!

Debi - This is our second time of something like this. Last time my wife and I went to Lake Tahoe in December hoping for snow and for the first time in 20 years on December 12th, the ground was completely dry, until the day after we left then they got 2 feet!
Sandra - You should come here, it really is great...Despite not getting what we planned.
Bonnie - Oh, we are having fun! We drove to town, picked up some games and another space heater and all is well now!
Monika - We are in a yurt with electricy! That really helps, the first night though the heater wasn't working right, couldn't get it above 45 degrees. But all is well now, we have it up to about 70.
Todd,
Hang in there...things are bound to improve!!! Thanks, Fran
What's a little snow? Come on now!
We're up over 60 degrees these days in PA...
