First impressions – Here is a way you can save a few dollars

I think one of the easiest things to do to increase the curb appeal of your home is to paint it. Have you ever looked at an old car and see the paint is all chipped and primer is showing all over? What do you think of that car and the owner of the car?

Well, the same thing is being said about your home. When someone drives up to the house, in the first 30 seconds they have already decided if they are going to even go in or if they are going to buy it. Curb appeal is a very big thing when it comes to first impressions of a home. You never get a 2nd chance at a good 1st impression, so you had better make it count.

What do you think a buyer is doing when they are standing behind their Realtor waiting for them to get the key out of the keybox? I can tell you they are looking at the door and the paint on that home and looking for every flaw they can. So, a simple paint job to the door and the house can increase the likely hood of them buying the home.

For more information on painting your home, I suggest you call your local paint store and ask for professional help in picking what paint best will work for your home and fit within your budget.

I think painting the home is so important that I invite you to print the coupon below and take it to your local Shermin-Williams Paint store and save 20% on your paint to bring your house up to snuff, before you continue to sell. I'm betting that you will get more from your home if you paint it, than you would spend on the paint to do it, especially with this coupon.

Good luck and call me when you're done, I would love to see the finished painting and help you sell your home for top dollar and in the quickest amount of time.

Todd - Nice post. Just getting the buyers out of their car once you have them to the driveway is sometimes a big hurdle too. Fresh paint goes a long way to increasing curb appeal! How did you get the coupon to include your name and message?

Todd:  Goes for brick, stone and vinyl sided homes too.  Painting the trim makes all the difference.

I agree Todd!  Nice incentive with the paint coupon!  Every little bit helps these days.

Charity - That is a one of the things my website host provides is coupons and other things for our clients.  I love it, as it has gotten me at least 2 clients in the last year along thanks to those coupons and other offers.

Chris - I just think people realize what curb appeal does for a home.

Tom - Yes they are!

Cristal - That simple savings maybe the difference between someone painting and not painting, but they don't realize what it means for increased value and shorter sales time.
