Hurry up and Sell?

Call your agent, invite them over and have a cup of coffee. When a listing gets old and stale, most of the time it is because of the house is either overpriced or there is something about the home buyers just aren’t clicking with when they see it.

Now, this isn’t always the case, your agent could be one of those agents that believes in the 3 “P”s (Post the Sign, Put in the MLS and Pray) Hopefully that isn’t the case! So, how can you tell if your home is overpriced or just not clicking with buyers? Simple, ask your agent for showing feedback.

Agents are fairly honest with their feedback. If they think it is overpriced, they won’t be afraid to tell your agent. Your home could be a mess, could be people don’t like the yard, but these are all things that need to be known. If they are things that can be fixed, by all means fix them.

Your agent should be calling you weekly with updates on advertising and showing feedback. If they aren’t contact them, it is important to know what is going on with the sale of your home. If you aren’t getting any buyers and can’t get any feedback, there are few things that it could be. One, it is WAY overpriced! Two, really bad pictures that aren’t showing off your home well or three, isn’t being advertised at all and no one knows about it.

So, ask questions and be informed and get your home sold faster! If for some reason it doesn’t sell and your listing expires with your present agent, we would love to interview for the job of getting your home sold and for top dollar.
