Well, this is a loaded question, but I can tell you that on my website, I have links to all the area schools and the report card given to them by the state. As for my kids? Well, they are home taught, the teachers are all right, not a lot of kids per class, but recess with dad is a lot of fun.
For more information on home schooling, I suggest you check out Calvert School and you will be amazed at what you read. I know that it isn't for everyone, but I know for my kids, they are better people for being home taught.

My neighbor and several (well, two) of my friends home school their children as well. There are wonderful programs and activities in my area that involve home schooled children but the most popular right now is a Ski program at one of our local ski resorts. The Mt. Rose Ski Resort puts together a package for this group of kids and offers lessons and ski packages at some awesome rates. It is a great way for parents and students to ge to know one another.
