I have met the best and most honest builder in the Portland area and his name is Dave Fahlman. He is the owner of Fahlman homes. Yep, in today’s world of builders being accused of cheating clients, not finishing projects, or just plain being jerks, it is nice to come across one of the good ones and I’m happy to say, I’m this builders agent!
What is so great about Dave is that he listens to his clients’ needs before he opens his mouth. By doing that he is able to create the exact home or project that his clients contacted him about in the first place. He doesn’t have to worry about the calls saying this isn’t what we agreed to.

One of the things I love about Dave is his attention to detail and his work ethic that says he won’t stop until the job is complete. I’ve called him at 7 in the morning to find him already at the job site, and later on driving by a project, he is still there at 9pm, while the rest of his crew has already gone home hours earlier.
So, if you are looking for someone to help you from the smallest of remodeling projects all the way up to a complete custom home, then I suggest you look into hiring Dave Fahlman and Fahlman Homes. From what his customers are saying, there really is no other reason to go anywhere else.

Hi Todd... your recommendation of Dave and his company is tremendous... and Money Magazine does not use disreputable people in their articles. Sure sound like Dave would be the "go to" guy for building and renovation needs in your area!
Mama Liz - He really is a great guy and just fun to be around. I was just lucky enough to meet him through on of his friends from college and we just hit it off.
Fred - I don't give to many of these out, but Dave's clients really did this not me. Like Dave's clients, once you meet him, you know there is no other choice for your business. I already know when my wife and I are ready to have our dream home designed, Dave will be the one doing it... Now if I can just find 100 acres somewhere to build it.
Steve - I know, you just don't see articles from Momey Magazine about a builder very often. But, Dave really is one of the special ones and clearly they recognized that.
Todd i always use workers I have used before and liked their work. This said if they screw me over once we are done.
